If your needs can be met remotely during your scheduled TeleVisit Appointment, you can expect your Provider will order the necessary tests, medications or specialty referrals, and then schedule a follow-up visit with you; Essen TeleVisit can also be used for specialist appointments. However, if the provider determines you need to be seen in person, they will schedule an appointment at one of our offices or make a referral to a hospital or medical center.
